All India Open Below 1600 FIDE Rating Chess Tournament – 2025

The All India Open Below 1600 FIDE Rating Chess Tournament 2025 will be held from August 29 to 31, 2025, at the Saroornagar Indoor Stadium, Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad, Telangana. Organized by the Telangana State Chess Association, this prestigious tournament is open to players with FIDE ratings below 1600 and is expected to attract around 150 participants from across the country. The tournament will follow a 9-round Swiss format with a time control of 30 minutes plus 30 seconds increment per move starting from move one.

The entry fee is ₹4,000 for general participants, while players registered with the Telangana Chess Association (TCA) enjoy a discounted fee of ₹3,500.
