Mulam Santha – A Celebration of Sustainability and Tradition

Hyderabad, December 13, 2025:
The 18th Mulam Santha, jointly organized by the CSR Memorial Foundation and Grama Bharathi, was successfully held at Marri Krishna Hall, Tarnaka, celebrating sustainability, traditional living, and rural empowerment.

The eco-market brought together farmers, artisans, khadi workers, and millet producers from across three states, featuring over 100 stalls and 500 varieties of natural and eco-friendly products. Visitors explored seeds, saplings, bio-enzymes, herbal powders, clay crafts, khadi garments, and millet-based foods — directly supporting rural livelihoods and sustainable practices.

Mulam Santha served as a meaningful bridge between rural producers and conscious consumers, promoting organic farming, local production, and self-reliant communities. The event attracted hundreds of Hyderabadis, reinforcing the city’s growing commitment to eco-friendly living.

Hyderabad: Every second Saturday, Hyderabad comes alive with Mulam Santha — a monthly community market promoting sustainability and traditional lifestyles. Organized by the CSR Memorial Foundation and Gram Bharati at Marri Krishna Hall, Tarnaka (10 a.m. – 7 p.m.), the fair brings together farmers, artisans, khadi weavers, and eco-entrepreneurs from across Telangana.

Rooted in the idea of conscious consumption, Mulam Santha connects rural producers directly with urban consumers, offering organic produce, handmade crafts, millet foods, khadi garments, and eco-friendly products. It’s not just a market — it’s a platform that empowers self-help groups, women entrepreneurs, and youth-led ventures.

Visitors can also enjoy workshops on natural farming, composting, and traditional crafts, along with organic food stalls serving millet snacks and herbal drinks. The fair’s earthy charm and community spirit make it a refreshing escape from city life.

The event received an overwhelming response from the community, with enthusiastic participation from people of all age groups who came forward to take charge of their health.

Sri Chinna Srimannarayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamy’s Spiritual Programs Successfully Concluded at Vidyanagar, Bhuvanagiri – 26th October 2025

With the divine grace of Sri Goda Devi and the blessings of Sri Ramanuja Acharya, the special spiritual programs organized at Sri Goda Sri Krishna Seva Mandir, Vidyanagar, Bhuvanagiri, Yadadri District, Telangana, from 23rd to 26th October 2025, were successfully and blissfully completed.

The event was graced by Sri U.Ve. Sriman S.V.K. Srinivasa Raghavacharya Swamy (D.D.D. Asmad Acharya Purvashrama) along with his Mangalashasanams, under the auspicious presence of Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Chinna Srimannarayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamy.

Alai Balai 2025: A Celebration of Togetherness and Cultural Pride

The 20th edition of Alai Balai was celebrated on Friday at the Nampally Exhibition Grounds in Hyderabad, bringing together political leaders, film personalities, and social figures. Former Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu lauded the event, initiated by late former Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, for promoting unity among people. Stressing the need to rise above caste, religion, and community divisions, he remarked that national unity is essential to avoid destabilising situations like those seen in Nepal. Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma echoed the sentiment, stating that serving the common man is akin to serving God, while Bandaru Dattatreya’s daughter Bandaru Vijayalakshmi, chairperson of the Alai Balai Foundation, organised the event this year.

Marking two decades since its inception during the Telangana movement, Alai Balai continues to stand as a symbol of cultural pride, social bonding, and political harmony. The gathering was attended by a host of dignitaries including Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, actor Akkineni Nagarjuna, retired CJI NV Ramana, former Governor Vidyasagar Rao, BJP MP Dr K Laxman, MRPS founder Manda Krishna Madiga, actor Brahmanandam, TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, CPI leaders Narayana and Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao, senior Congress leader V.
