CSIR Start-Up Conclave 2025: Igniting Innovation in Health & Science

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), through its premier Hyderabad-based institutes—IICT, CCMB, and NGRI—is set to host a dynamic two-day Start-Up Conclave on April 22 and 23 at Zahir Memorial School, Habsiguda. The event will spotlight over 200 start-ups nurtured under the guidance of these institutes, showcasing innovations in life sciences, public health, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and biotechnology. From developing low-cost cancer medicines and mRNA vaccine platforms to creating portable dialysis units and ultra-pure water solutions for hospitals, these start-ups are turning scientific breakthroughs into real-world solutions. The conclave will feature live product demonstrations, investor networking opportunities, and sessions on scaling innovations. Noteworthy participants include Oncosimis Biotech, working on affordable cancer therapy; Alithon, offering purified water systems for dialysis; and Pheezee by Startoon Labs, which provides physiotherapy and rehabilitation tools. This event is a celebration of how CSIR’s ecosystem is fostering cutting-edge entrepreneurship and enabling young ventures to thrive locally and globally.
