At the recent Sanghamitra Meet, hosted by Pragathi Welfare Society, the Sanghamitra Team proudly released the Handbook for Volunteer Engagement, published by Youth For Seva as part of the United Nations’ International Volunteer Year 2026 initiative.

This practical and insightful handbook serves as a valuable resource for NGOs and non-profit organizations, offering guidance on how to effectively engage volunteers in development and community-driven initiatives. It emphasizes building meaningful volunteer participation and integrating community engagement into the very fabric of organizational culture.

We encourage all NGOs, non-profits, and social sector organizations to explore this handbook and leverage its learnings to strengthen volunteer involvement and impact.

Warm regards,
Team Sanghamitra
