Boost for Hyderabad’s AVGC Industry

The upcoming studio is expected to strengthen Hyderabad’s Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics (AVGC) ecosystem. By establishing a dedicated presence in the city, Netflix aims to collaborate with local creative talent and technology professionals involved in digital content production.

Hyderabad has already attracted several international media and gaming companies working on global productions. Studios linked to companies such as Warner Bros., Disney, Electronic Arts, and Ubisoft operate in the city, contributing to major Hollywood and international projects.

The addition of a Netflix studio office is expected to further accelerate growth in visual effects, animation, and advanced filmmaking technologies. Recent developments such as new motion-capture facilities in the city highlight Hyderabad’s expanding capabilities in digital entertainment production.

Strengthening India’s Content Creation Landscape

With India emerging as one of the world’s largest entertainment markets, streaming platforms are investing heavily in local infrastructure and creative ecosystems. Netflix’s Hyderabad expansion reflects the increasing demand for high-quality digital content and production capabilities in the region.

As Hyderabad continues to evolve into a technology and media innovation hub, the new Netflix facility is expected to play an important role in shaping the future of India’s streaming and digital content industry.
