 Mulam Santha – A Celebration of Sustainability and Tradition

Hyderabad, December 13, 2025:
The 18th Mulam Santha, jointly organized by the CSR Memorial Foundation and Grama Bharathi, was successfully held at Marri Krishna Hall, Tarnaka, celebrating sustainability, traditional living, and rural empowerment.

The eco-market brought together farmers, artisans, khadi workers, and millet producers from across three states, featuring over 100 stalls and 500 varieties of natural and eco-friendly products. Visitors explored seeds, saplings, bio-enzymes, herbal powders, clay crafts, khadi garments, and millet-based foods — directly supporting rural livelihoods and sustainable practices.

Mulam Santha served as a meaningful bridge between rural producers and conscious consumers, promoting organic farming, local production, and self-reliant communities. The event attracted hundreds of Hyderabadis, reinforcing the city’s growing commitment to eco-friendly living.

Organizers thanked volunteers, participants, and visitors for making the fair a grand success. Each edition of Mulam Santha continues to inspire people to embrace traditional values and sustainable lifestyles, taking Hyderabad one step closer to a greener tomorrow.

Messi’s Hyderabad Visit: Minute-by-Minute Schedule Announced, Police Warn Against Misconduct-2025

Hyderabad: With memories of violence during football legend Lionel Messi’s programme in Kolkata still fresh, the Hyderabad police have issued a stern warning of stringent action against any misconduct during Messi’s appearance at the city stadium. To ensure smooth conduct, officials have released a detailed minute-by-minute schedule of the evening’s events.

Messi is scheduled to enter the stadium at 7.50 p.m., coinciding with the kick-off of the match. Shortly thereafter, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi will enter the pitch, followed by Messi and football stars Rodrigo De Paul and Luis Suarez. The dignitaries and players will take a parade walk around the stadium, acknowledging fans, before assembling on a specially erected stage for formal introductions.

At 8.11 p.m., Messi and the Chief Minister will symbolically dribble the ball together, followed by a closely watched penalty shootout—three shots per team—to decide the winner of the specially instituted GOAT Cup.

Rahul Gandhi will then join the dignitaries, players and children for a group photograph. The focus will subsequently shift to the Tiki-Taka Children’s Clinics, scheduled between 8.17 p.m. and 8.32 p.m. During this time, four designated zones will come alive with Messi, Suarez, De Paul, the Chief Minister and Rahul Gandhi interacting with children, passing the ball, offering encouragement and sharing moments on the field. The clinic will culminate in a special penalty shootout with Messi, with organiser Anuttam Reddy donning the goalkeeper’s gloves.

During the felicitation ceremony, Messi will present the GOAT Cup to the winning team, while Rahul Gandhi will hand over the cup to the other participating team. The Chief Minister will honour Messi with a gift and shawl, and Parvathi Reddy along with others will felicitate Luis Suarez and Rodrigo De Paul.

Messi is scheduled to leave the stadium at 9 p.m., bringing the tightly choreographed programme to a close. Officials said the detailed planning leaves no scope for disruptions, underscoring the administration’s focus on safety and order during the high-profile event.

Inter-IIT Sports Meet Kicks Off at IIT Hyderabad | December 15, 2025

The 58th edition of the Inter-IIT Sports Meet commenced at IIT Hyderabad, Kandi (Sangareddy district) on Sunday, bringing together athletic talent from across the country. The week-long event is witnessing the participation of nearly 2,500 students from 23 IITs, competing across a wide range of sporting disciplines.

The sports meet was inaugurated by Olympian and badminton star Saina Nehwal, who highlighted the importance of fitness and sports in nation-building. She remarked that India’s pride can be shaped not only through world-class research and innovation but also through healthy lifestyles, discipline, and a passion for sports.

“Sport is not just about competitions that last a week; it is about the habits we form every day. Regular workouts and staying active instil discipline, resilience, and focus — qualities as vital as academics and research,” she said.

Also present at the inauguration, India’s Chief Badminton Coach Pullela Gopichand emphasized the need to integrate sports into campus life. He stated that sports play a crucial role in building character, confidence, and discipline, helping shape well-rounded individuals.

The event will be followed by the Inter-IIT Sports Meet for staff, scheduled from December 24 to 29, with over 2,000 participants expected to compete in various categories.

The ceremony was attended by B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, Chairman of the Board of Governors, IIT Hyderabad, and Director B.S. Murty, among other dignitaries.

Telangana Rising Global Summit Begins Grandly at Bharat Future City – 2025

Community Service Initiatives at Dr. M. Channa Reddy Memorial Rock Garden – December 2, 2025

On the occasion of the 29th Death Anniversary of former Chief Minister Dr. Marri Channa Reddy, multiple impactful community service programs were organized at the Dr. M. Channa Reddy Memorial Rock Garden, Indira Park, Hyderabad, bringing together donors, doctors, children, volunteers, and several NGOs in a meaningful celebration of service and humanity.

A Blood Donation Camp, a Free Health & Cancer Screening Camp, and an Art & Painting Session for children were conducted throughout the day, reflecting the values of compassion and public service that Dr. Channa Reddy stood for.

The day began with a peaceful bhajan program at 9:00 AM, followed by floral tributes at 10:00 AM at Dr. Channa Reddy’s samadhi.

🩸 Blood Donation Camp

Organized by the Dr. M. Channa Reddy Memorial Trust in collaboration with Aarohi Blood Bank and the Thalassemia & Sickle Cell Society Blood Bank, the blood donation drive received an inspiring response with 150 donors participating.
This support is especially crucial for children suffering from Thalassemia, who require blood transfusions every 2–3 weeks for survival.
The camp was coordinated by Mr. Krishna Reddy, with the presence of family members and followers of Dr. Channa Reddy, along with volunteers from Badruka College ,AV College NCC & NSS, OBD, Rajmata Foundation, ASWA, Janma Foundation, Yuva Seva, Youth For Seva, STASS, Asya Foundation, and many public participants.

🌿 Free Health & Cancer Screening Camp

The CSR Memorial Foundation, along with Lions Club of Hyderabad Prerana and MNJ Cancer Hospital, organized a large free health camp benefiting around 250 people.
The services included consultations from General Physicians, Gynecologists, Pediatricians, Dental and Eye specialists, ECG, BP, Sugar tests, and Alternative Medicine guidance.
Breast Cancer Screening (Mammography) and Cervical Cancer Screening (Pap Smear) were provided with the support of Ankur Hospital, Renova–NIGL Hospitals, and Lions Eye Hospital Balanagar.
These screenings helped raise awareness on preventive healthcare and early detection.

🎨 Art & Painting Session for Children

As a heartfelt tribute to Dr. Channa Reddy, an Art & Painting Session was organized by APSA Foundation with support from CSR Memorial Foundation.
Around 40 children participated enthusiastically under the guidance of the APSA “Atharapu” team and Shri Krishna Reddy garu, expressing their creativity through colors and drawings.
This initiative encouraged young minds to celebrate art, learning, and the inspirational legacy of Dr. Channa Reddy.

The APSA Foundation, in collaboration with the CSR Memorial Foundation, respectfully observed the 29th death anniversary of Dr. Marri Channa Reddy, honouring his remarkable legacy as a visionary leader and statesman.

As part of this commemoration, APSA Foundation organized a special children’s art and painting session, encouraging young artists to express themes of leadership, environment, and social harmony.
A total of 40 children participated with enthusiasm, showcasing creativity and vibrant imagination.

This meaningful activity was planned and executed by the APSA Foundation team “Atharapu,” bringing children together to learn, create, and pay homage to Dr. Channa Reddy in a thoughtful and inspiring way.

The event was successfully organized under the guidance of Shri Krishna Reddy garu, with strong support from the CSR Memorial Foundation. Their contribution ensured seamless coordination and an engaging experience for all young participants.

Blood Donation Camp Held at Indira Park on Dec 2nd to Mark Dr. M. Channa Reddy’s 29th Death Anniversary

Hyderabad, December 2, 2025:
A blood donation camp was organized today at the Dr. Marri Channa Reddy Memorial Rock Garden, Indira Park, to commemorate the 29th Death Anniversary of former Chief Minister Dr. M. Channa Reddy. The camp was facilitated by the Dr. M. Channa Reddy Memorial Trust in collaboration with Aarohi Blood Bank and the Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Society Blood Bank.

According to organizers, children suffering from Thalassemia require blood transfusions every 2–3 weeks, making regular blood donation crucial for their survival. The Trust has been conducting this camp annually, with increasing participation from volunteers and civil society groups. This year, the camp recorded 150 donors.

The event was coordinated by Mr. Krishna Reddy on behalf of the Trust. Several family members, supporters, and followers of Dr. M. Channa Reddy attended the program, including Smt. Vasudha Devi, Sri Sudarshan Reddy, Mrs. Nirvana, Ms. Kavya, Ms. Savithri, Mr. Shashidhar Reddy, and Mr. Ravinder Reddy. Teams from both blood banks also took part in the initiative.

Volunteers from various NGOs and youth organizations such as AV College NCC & NSS, Online Blood Donors (OBD), Rajmata Foundation, ASWA, Janma Foundation, Yuva Seva, Youth For Seva, STASS, and Asya Foundation participated in large numbers, alongside members of the general public.

The camp was held from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm at the Rock Garden premises. Earlier in the morning, a bhajan program was conducted at Dr. M. Channa Reddy’s samadhi at 9:00 am, followed by floral tributes at 10:00 am.

Telangana to Deepen Strategic Ties with North-East for Tech and Development Push

Telangana has announced plans to play a more active role in the growth and development of India’s North-Eastern States, with IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu unveiling the Telangana–North East Connect (Phase-2) initiative at Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

The State government is preparing a comprehensive roadmap to strengthen collaboration with the North-East in key sectors, including digital connectivity, technology adoption, entrepreneurship, skill development, life sciences, bio-innovation, and rural transformation. According to the Minister’s office, the plan aims to accelerate mutual growth by leveraging Telangana’s capabilities and the North-East’s emerging potential.

Highlighting the inclusive ethos of Telangana, Mr. Sridhar Babu noted that the North-Eastern States have made remarkable progress in digital literacy, IT skilling, fintech, and public digital services, despite facing infrastructural and connectivity constraints.

As part of Phase-2 of the initiative, Telangana and the North-East will work together on projects such as a North East–Telangana Tech Corridor, joint innovation labs, bio-incubators, creative technology studios, and green-energy collaborations. The Minister emphasised that Telangana’s development strategy is centred on preparing for future technologies, ensuring the State remains ahead of emerging global trends.

Youth for Seva, State Street Volunteers Lead Enriching Zoo Learning Trip for MPPS Raidurg Students

In a heartwarming initiative, the Youth for Seva (YFS) Hyderabad team organized an educational trip to Nehru Zoological Park on 13 November for 53 enthusiastic 5th-grade students from MPPS Raidurg.

The visit was supported by 15 volunteers from State Street, who played a key role in ensuring a meaningful learning experience. To provide personal attention and guidance, the students were divided into small groups of four, each accompanied by a dedicated volunteer acting as a mentor and companion throughout the day.

From exploring the vibrant fish aquarium to observing the unique species in the nocturnal bird house, the children engaged in experiential learning beyond the classroom. The volunteers added a special touch by helping students with ID cards, answering their questions, and sharing in their excitement as they discovered the wonders of wildlife.

Youth for Seva expressed sincere gratitude to the State Street team, the school staff, and YFS coordinators for transforming a simple field trip into an unforgettable memory filled with care, connection, and curiosity.
