Pusarla Venkata Sindhu, commonly known as PV Sindhu, is an Indian professional badminton player. She was born on July 5, 1995, in Hyderabad, India. Sindhu gained widespread recognition and achieved numerous accolades for her exceptional skills and achievements in badminton.

PV Sindhu rose to prominence on the international badminton scene when she won a bronze medal at the 2013 World Championships, becoming the first Indian woman to achieve such a feat. She continued to make significant strides in her career and won the silver medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, becoming the first Indian woman to win a silver medal at the Olympics.
