India Post Introduces 24-Hour Speed Post Services in Hyderabad

India Post has launched a new set of time-bound delivery services aimed at improving speed and reliability in mail and parcel delivery across major metro cities, including Hyderabad.

The services—‘24 Speed Post’, ‘24 Speed Post Parcel’, and ‘48 Speed Post’—were unveiled in New Delhi by Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia along with Minister of State Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani.

📦 Service Highlights

• 24 Speed Post: Assures next-day delivery for documents
• 24 Speed Post Parcel: Ensures next-day delivery for parcels up to 5 kg
• 48 Speed Post: Guarantees document delivery within 48 hours

All consignments under these services will be treated on a priority basis, with refunds offered in case of delays, subject to conditions.

The services are currently operational in six metro cities:

• Hyderabad

• Chennai

According to Telangana Circle officials:

• 38 booking offices and 94 delivery offices will handle 24-hour services
• 176 booking offices and 94 delivery offices will manage 48-hour service
