CBRE to Set Up Global Agentic AI CoE in Hyderabad, Eyes Frontend Technology Work

Commercial real estate consultancy giant CBRE is set to establish its first Indian global Agentic AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Hyderabad, strengthening India’s role in the company’s global technology and innovation strategy.
The move is part of CBRE’s broader push to transform enterprise workflows using Agentic AI—technology designed to automate and execute complex, multi-step business processes with greater autonomy.
The new Agentic AI CoE will be co-anchored between India and Richardson, Dallas, Texas. According to people familiar with the development, several processes have already been moved into production, with the company targeting 30 critical enterprise workflows across procurement, finance and lease abstraction for automation over the next 9 to 12 months.
Anuj Kadyan, Chief Technology and Transformation Officer at CBRE, said the company is making a strong push towards agentic-led process reimagination.
“We have a large knowledge worker talent. The way of working of that workforce is going to evolve pretty rapidly, and there are lots of processes like procurement, finance processes and lease abstraction where Agentic AI will play a significant role.”
CBRE is also looking to move its India operations further up the value chain—from execution-focused work towards frontend product development and technology innovation.
India currently accounts for more than 40% of CBRE’s global technology and operations workforce, highlighting the country’s growing importance to the company’s global digital transformation agenda.
Anshuman Magazine, Chairman and CEO for India, South East Asia, Middle East and Africa at CBRE, said India is increasingly becoming a hub for frontend work, with local talent driving the company’s global technology initiatives.
Kadyan added that the core of the Agentic AI CoE will be based in India, working closely with the team in Richardson, Dallas.
With Agentic AI becoming an increasingly important part of enterprise transformation, CBRE’s Hyderabad centre is expected to play a key role in reshaping how the company manages critical business workflows globally.
