Harvard Executive Education Programme to Begin in Hyderabad from December

Hyderabad: Harvard University is set to offer executive education programmes in Hyderabad from December, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said on Thursday.

Speaking at a meeting with a 30-member delegation representing UK business schools and universities at the MCR HRD Institute, the Chief Minister said Telangana was ready to extend all necessary support to international universities and business schools seeking to establish a presence in the State.

The delegation included UK House of Lords member Karan Bilimoria, British Council Director Janaka Pushpanathan, Chartered Association of Business Schools CEO Flora Hamilton and representatives of the British Deputy High Commission.

Mr. Revanth Reddy said discussions were also progressing on offshore campuses by institutions such as MIT and Purdue. He said Telangana could develop partnerships with Harvard, MIT, the University of London, Virginia Tech and Northeastern University in areas including executive education, dual-degree programmes, faculty training and research.

The Chief Minister said the presence of leading UK business schools in Telangana could help attract major global corporate organisations to the State.

He also highlighted the development of an education hub at Bharat Future City, where the Young India Skills University is being established to equip young people with advanced skills aligned with evolving industry requirements.

Mr. Revanth Reddy invited the UK delegation to the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026, scheduled for December. He said prominent members of the UK education sector would be specially invited to participate.

According to the Chief Minister, the summit is being planned along the lines of the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos and is intended to provide a platform to showcase Telangana to global investors.
