Altimetrik Launches PharmaOS AI Platform for Life Sciences Sector in Hyderabad

The new centre will support AI-driven workflows across drug discovery, clinical development, pharmaceutical manufacturing, patient engagement and healthcare delivery.

Altimetrik, an AI engineering company, has launched its Healthcare & Life Sciences Centre of Excellence in Hyderabad to develop AI-powered solutions for the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries. The centre’s first offering is PharmaOS, an AI agent platform designed to streamline complex industry workflows.

According to the company, PharmaOS aims to help clients transform a defined concept into a validated and governed AI agent workflow within a week. The platform brings together more than 35 AI agents and accelerators covering commercial operations, clinical and regulatory evidence review, manufacturing and quality processes.

The platform can support tasks such as reviewing clinical study reports and preparing for pharmaceutical batch releases. It is designed to ensure that outputs are traceable to source evidence while maintaining human accountability for decisions. PharmaOS is also compatible with AI ecosystems from Google, Anthropic and OpenAI.

Hyderabad Centre to Support Life Sciences Innovation

The new Centre of Excellence is located within Altimetrik’s 22,000-square-foot office at Phoenix Equinox in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The facility will support AI-driven workflows across drug discovery, clinical development, commercial operations, pharmaceutical manufacturing, patient engagement and care delivery.

The Hyderabad office houses more than 300 Altimetrik employees. The company selected the city because of its strong pharmaceutical industry presence and proximity to pharmaceutical companies and contract research organisations (CROs). These organisations are expected to help shape the development of solutions tailored to real-world industry requirements.

The launch follows Altimetrik’s recent expansion in Pune, which helped take its global workforce beyond 11,000 employees. With the new Hyderabad centre and the introduction of PharmaOS, the company aims to strengthen its presence in healthcare and life sciences while accelerating the adoption of AI-driven workflows across the sector.
