Mulam Santha – Back to the Roots is a unique community initiative dedicated to reviving the spirit of rural India by empowering farmers, artisans, women entrepreneurs, and local producers. More than just a marketplace, it is a platform that celebrates India’s agricultural heritage, traditional knowledge, and sustainable way of life.
Founded under the visionary leadership of Sri Krishna Reddy Garu, Founder of CSR Memorial Foundation, and with the dedicated support of Gramabharathi members, Mulam Santha has grown into a vibrant movement that connects rural producers directly with urban consumers. Their collective efforts have created meaningful livelihood opportunities while preserving India’s rich cultural and agricultural traditions.
Every month, Mulam Santha brings together natural farmers, millet producers, Khadi weavers, handicraft artisans, women’s self-help groups, and rural entrepreneurs under one roof. Visitors can explore naturally grown farm produce, traditional foods, millets, organic products, Panchagavya and Ayurvedic products, handmade crafts, eco-friendly products, indigenous seeds, Khadi garments, and much more.
Recently, Mulam Santha was recognized as a true reflection of the “Soul of Rural India,” receiving appreciation from Shri Bandaru Dattatreya. This prestigious recognition acknowledges the initiative’s outstanding contribution to promoting rural livelihoods, natural farming, sustainable development, and the “Vocal for Local” movement.
This achievement belongs to every farmer, artisan, volunteer, visitor, and supporter who has been part of this inspiring journey.
