AWS Announces New Builder Loft in Hyderabad to Empower India’s Developer Community

Hyderabad: Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced plans to open a new AWS Builder Loft in Hyderabad, creating a dedicated community space where developers, students and technology professionals can collaborate, learn and build innovative solutions.

The Hyderabad facility will be launched alongside new AWS Builder Lofts in Berlin and São Paulo, as the cloud technology company expands the initiative globally. The first AWS Builder Loft opened in San Francisco in July 2025, and AWS said the expansion follows the strong response to the original location.

The permanent community spaces will provide developers with access to free workshops, networking events, pitch nights, content creation facilities, collaboration and co-working areas, and event-hosting spaces. The facilities will be open to developers, students and technology professionals looking to connect with peers and explore new technologies.

The Hyderabad Builder Loft is expected to become a hub for India’s growing developer ecosystem, with a focus on artificial intelligence, cloud-native architecture and application development. AWS said the space will enable Indian developers to upskill, exchange ideas and collaborate on technologies designed for India and global markets.

“Twenty years ago, AWS launched its first services, and it was the builder community that believed in us from the very beginning,” said David Nalley, Director of Developer Experience at AWS.

“These spaces are our way of investing back into that community, giving developers a place to come together, build real things, and learn from each other. Not through a screen, but in person, side by side,” he added.

The Hyderabad Builder Loft is expected to further strengthen AWS’s engagement with India’s technology and startup ecosystem while providing developers with a physical space to experiment, network and turn ideas into real-world applications.
